FL varsity hockey teams drop Saturday games
It was a pair of defeats for both the boy’s and girl’s varsity hockey teams in Suburban East Conference action on Saturday night. The Ranger boys dropped a 4-2 decision to East Ridge. The victors scored a pair of goals in the first and third periods to pull away from the Rangers. The Ranger girls lost a 6-2 decision to Mounds View. The Mustangs put the game away with three goals in the first period and two in the second period. Forest Lake broke through for a pair of goals in the final period but the game was all but decided.
