Author and photographer present Fresh Coast Project at the Wyoming Area Library

On Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. stop by the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library and listen as Minnesota author, Kathy-jo Wargin and her husband, photographer, Ed Wargin discuss the Fresh Coast Project,  an endeavor to capture the Great Lakes on film prior to the cessation of film as a photographic medium.

Ed is a professional landscape and nature photographer.

Kathy-jo is the author of both children and adult books. Her children’s titles include “Scare a Bear,” “Moose on the Loose,” “Legend of the Loon” and many others. Some of her adult titles include the “Great Lakes Cottage Book” and “Michigan, Spirit of the Land.”

Before speaking at the library, Kathy-jo will visit the Wyoming Elementary School and talk with the students. Her visit is part of East Central Regional Library’s Meet the Author II series and is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
