The 2012 spring load limit restrictions for Washington County roads became effective as of 12:01 a.m., Monday, March 5. The spring road restrictions will stay in effect for eight weeks or unless special circumstances dictate otherwise. All county roads with spring weight restrictions will be posted with signs indicating the spring load limit for a particular road. During spring weight restrictions, the county does not issue permits for overweight transport, except in cases of a serious public health emergency.
