Computer maintenance class offered at Wyoming Area Library

Just like an automobile, your computer needs to be on a maintenance schedule.

Although new computers automatically update themselves, there are other things that computer users need to know. Come to the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Libary for a 90-minute class to learn about malware, software updates, anti-virus protection and more.

Participants won’t, however, be taking the computer apart. This will be an informational class on computer maintenance basics.

Classes will be held at the Wyoming Area Library on Sunday, March 25 at 1 p.m. Pre-register by next Tuesday, March 20. Another session will be held on Wednesday, April 18 at 1 p.m. Pre-register by April 12. Call 651-462-9001 to reserve your spot.

This workshop is presented by East Central Regional Library as part of the Digital Immigrants II series teaching individuals new technology skills.
