Final weekend for Masquers’ dinner theater

This weekend is your last chance to see “A Don’t Hug Me County Fair” presented by Masquers Theatre Company at Vannelli’s by the Lake, 55 S. Lake St., Forest Lake.

There are only three remaining performances remaining on March 23, 24 and 25. Show time is 2 p.m. on Sunday with dinner served at 12:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays with a 7:30 p.m. play time.

The show is set in northern Minnesota and it’s county fair time which is the biggest event that has happened in Bunyan Bay since the Winter Carnival Snowplow Parade.

Gunner and Clara Johnson (played by Faith Lutheran Pastor Paul Brown and Columbus teacher Rachel Meyer) are owners of a little bar called The Bunyan, and trouble begins when Gunner’s wife decides she wants to win the title of Miss Walleye Queen.

Can Gunner ever tell Clara how he feels? Who will win the title of Miss Walleye? Come see for yourself. Show only tickets are available, or enjoy dinner and the production at a special combo price.

Tickets are available at www.masquerstheatre.org or by calling 651-464-5823.
