2 FL schools take security steps on Tuesday

Two Forest Lake schools have been placed under extra security measures following a report from the Forest Lake Police Department of a suspicious person. Superintendnet Linda Madsen said Forest Lake High School and Century Junior High School are directly involved in the action which resulted in all exterior doors being locked to prevent anyone from outside to enter the schools. She said the action is not a lock-down. Bus service to elementary students may be impacted, she said.

Thanks for posting this right away.

Glad to know what’s going on in such a timely manner. Was worried from the message we got from the elementary school without enough details.
