Hegseth pulls in early cash

It was a good first month of fund-raising for Pete Hegseth. Hegseth, a candidate for U.S. Senate, announced Monday that his campaign raised $160,000 in the first quarter, and has roughly $130,000 cash on hand. The financial numbers come just one month after Hegseth, a Forest Lake High School graduate who now lives in Stillwater, officially entered the race on March 1. Hegseth is one of three Republicans in the race seeking the party endorsement to run against DFL Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who is completing her first six-year term.
