Jim Graves endorsed by DFL in 6th District

St. Cloud businessman Jim Graves has launched his campaign for the office of U.S. Representative in Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District and won party endorsement at the DFL Sixth District Convention on Saturday in Blaine. His announcement was made at the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel in St. Cloud, a business owned by Graves. Graves was joined by family, UNITE HERE, the first labor union to endorse him, 6th district community leaders, friends and supporters. He will run against Michele Bachmann in November. Graves’ campaign will focus on creating livable-wage jobs to strengthen the economy and ensure a strong middle class. “Minnesota’s sixth district needs a business-savvy congress person who will work full-time to create livable-wage jobs and strengthen the economy, ensuring a strong middle class and improving the lives of everyone,” Graves said. “I have talked the talk and walked the walk and have created hundreds of jobs in the 6th District,” Graves added. “I look forward to continuing that in the US House of Representatives.”
