A few good showings has the Ranger boys’ golf team in the thick of the Suburban East Conference race after three events. Forest Lake sits in second place with 22 points, four behind Mounds View.

In between the conference meets, the Rangers took part in the Tri-State Invitational at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park. Wayzata came back to beat Eden Prairie for the team title with a two-day total of 612. The Rangers shot 335-228-663.
