Wednesday update: Softball win streak ends, track girls win True Team

The Forest Lake softball team’s winning streak is over at 15. The girls fell 5-4 in Roseville last night as the Raiders rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Meanwhile, the girls’ track and field team rolled to victory at the Section 5 True Team meet. The Rangers outscored runner-up Blaine by 118 points for the win, which qualifies them to compete at the state True Team meet next Friday, May 18 in Stillwater. The Ranger boys placed third, behind White Bear Lake and Blaine.
