Shuttle service announced for Lake Fest
In anticipation of parking problems in the downtown for Saturday’s Lake Fest 2012 events at Lakeside Memorial Park, shuttle service will be available throughout the day.
Erin Turner, one of the planners of the community celebration, said Thursday that bus service would originate in the parking lots of the Central Learning Center, Forest Lake Elementary and Forest View Elementary schools. The shuttle service will continue throughout the day.
Events at Lakeside Memorial Park begin with a 5K fun run at 9 a.m. and conclude with a movie under the stars at 10 p.m.
