WSC hosts Canine Carnival this Saturday

The Wildlife Science Center recently took in this baby black bear. The cub lost his mother and two siblings in a collision with an automobile. The Wisconsin DNR found him and transfered him to the WSC, where he will eventually join other black bears.

The Wildlife Science Center will hold its annual Canine Carnival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 2. The event is a celebration of dogs both wild and domestic and will feature presentations, demos, vendors, concessions and more.

Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for kids and free for leashed dogs. See www.wildlifesciencecenter.org for more information. The facility is located at 5463 West Broadway Ave. in Columbus.
