Program will be outdoors if weather allows
The Forest Lake High School class of 2012 — 500 members strong — will complete their high school education tonight. The 101st commencement exercise at the high school is set for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 7 on the athletic field, weather allowing.
Andrew Waldron, an English teacher at the high school, will deliver the commencement address.
Three student speakers have also been selected from the senior class. They are listed below with their speech titles:
•Jacqueline Ohman, “Life’s A Dance.”
•Neil Peterson, “Who’s That Knockin’?”
•Hannah Theisen, “Stay Tuned.”
School board members Rob Rapheal, Erin Turner, Karen Morehead, Dan Kieger, Kathy Bystrom, Julie Corcoran and Gail Theisen will take part in the awarding of diplomas.
The program will also include musical selections featuring the high school graduation band and the high school cantorei.
