2 elementary principals camp out on roof

This is the kind of bet school principals like to lose. When Forest View and Forest Lake elementary schools planned a spring walk-a-thon, Forest Lake Principal Jeff Ion and Forest View Principal Scott Urness issued a challenge to the students. If the drive could raise $10,000, the two principals said they would sleep the night of June 5-6 on the Forest View roof. The students of the K-3 Forest View and 4-6 Forest Lake did their part by raising $10,800 for the technology fund at the two schools. Men of their word, Urness and Ion made the climb to the Forest View roof and spent the night.
