MnDOT will host event at Hugo City Hall
Area residents, business owners and motorists are invited to an open house on June 28 to view preliminary concepts and provide input on options for construction staging for the Highway 61 and 170th Street N. (CR-4) intersection project in Hugo that is scheduled to begin spring 2013 and be completed by fall 2013.
The project will construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of US-61 and 170th Street in Hugo. Overall safety is anticipated to improve, in addition to traffic flow improvement at the intersection with the construction of the roundabout.
The open house will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, June 28 at Hugo City Hall, 14669 Fitzgerald Ave. N.
Open house attendees will be able to view preliminary layouts and graphics of the proposed improvements. The public is invited to review and provide input on project phasing. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Washington County will be in attendance to answer questions.
