Partnership serves Forest Lake families in need

More families are reaching out to social services and other community resources to help them through economic, mental, physical and emotional stress.

For the past three years, the Forest Lake Area Partnership for Families (FLAPF) has responded to the needs of community members by hosting a “Living on Less: Resources for Forest Lake Area School District Families in Need” event.

FLAPF is offering this resource fair again on Wednesday, Aug. 15,  from 11:00am-1:00pm at Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 24799 Forest Blvd.

FLAPF is seeking organizations and service providers who serve people in Forest Lake Area School District communities to provide an informational booth at the event.

They hope that counties, public health clinics, law enforcement organizations, low income housing and food shelves will be represented.
