“The most important things to accomplish in the summer are to have fun while enjoying the game of softball and to improve,” said coach Angie Ryan.

“We did both and are happy that we accomplished our goals. The 2013 [varsity] softball team will be talented once again, filled with members from this strong team and our 16U and 14U teams who also did very well this summer.”

Members of the 18U squad include: 2012 Forest Lake High School graduates Micah McGuiness and Shannon Nelson; Class of 2013 members Katelyn Palo, Jennifer Zidar, Kari Birkholz and Kelsey Magnuson; Class of 2014 members Natalie Wright, Lauren Riedeman, Mikayla Watters, Rachael Harrington and Kalynn Tilton. Kailey Hanson, a 2011 Forest Lake graduate, and Carley Pickett, a 2012 North St. Paul graduate, filled in due to injuries.
