Where to vote on Aug. 14

In state primary election

Area residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, Aug. 14 to cast ballots in the state primary election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Here’s a list of where to vote next week.

There are two major changes that will impact some voters.

In Wyoming, all voters will cast ballots at Maranatha Assembly of God Church. In Forest Lake, voters living in Precinct 4 have a new polling place that is within its precinct boundaries.

Forest Lake

Forest Lake voters have five precincts. They are:

•Precinct 1, Forest Lake City Hall, 220 N. Lake St.

•Precinct 2, St. Peter’s Church, 1250 South Shore Drive.

•Precinct 3, Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive.

•Precinct 4, Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail N. (TH-97). Residents of this precinct previously voted at Forest Hills United Methodist Church. The poll has been moved to its new location to place it within its actual precinct boundaries.

•Precinct 5, Washington County Service Center, 19955 Forest Road N.

City residents unsure of where they should vote may call Chantal Doriott, deputy city clerk, 651-209-9727, for more information.
