A drug raid in Forest Lake last week has confiscated a large quantity of methamphetamine and cash and landed two people in jail.

City police executed a drug search warrant at 8:43 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 121 Lee St.

The search warrant followed a lengthy drug investigation by city police, said Capt. Greg Weiss. He said police seized 34 grams of methamphetamine and more than $3000 in cash.

Two arrests were made. They are:

•Stephanie Louise Bernin, 32, 121 Lee St.

•Darrell John Riebe, 46, 121 Lee St.

Both were charged with one felony count of aiding and abetting drugs, first degree, possess 25 grams or more of cocaine/heroin/methamphetamine.

Both were booked at the Washington County Jail in Stillwater and placed under a 36-hour hold that expired on Friday, Aug. 10. Court dates for the pair are pending.

Weiss said the drug raid and arrests followed a police investigation that developed credible information that triggered the court-issued warrant.
