Jeff Klein files for FL City Council

Jeff Klein is making a second bid for a Forest Lake City Council term. Klein, who ran in 2010, has filed for one of two four-year seats that will be on the city ballot on Tuesday, Nov. 6. He issued the following filing statement: “I am running for city council as I have always been interested in how government should work. However with each passing year I’ve noticed partisan politics, almost unheard of on a local level, leading to a level of dysfunction on our council. I am running to represent all citizens of Forest Lake and not just a select few. After all, my family and I live here too! I will bring independent, open minded thinking and a common sense approach to solving the issues that concern you. Who am I? Just a regular guy who lives in our community with my lovely wife and two adorable school age daughters. They, along with you, are my sole motivation to serve on the council. I would appreciate a chance to serve but that’s up to you so please vote Jeff Klein in November!  To learn more visit: www.kleinforcouncil.webs.com.
