Sequel to ‘Ruby’s Tale’ in the works
Scandia resident Pat Bettendorf and his famous canine companion are off to the East Coast as the fourth printing of their book, “Ruby’s Tale,” hits the press. Bettendorf and his pit bull will be guests of honor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School on Sept. 23 during a symposium on breed-specific legislation. The invitation comes on the heels of Ruby’s photo shoot in the Badlands for the cover of “Ruby’s Road,” a sequel to “Ruby’s Tale” due out late 2013.
