Candidate forum set for Oct. 3

Minnesota is aging, are we prepared? Senior-related issues will be discussed at a candidate forum at Ecumen Parmly LifePointes Vitalize! Studios of Art  on Wednesday, Oct. 3. The public can meet the candidates at 6 p.m., with the forum starting at 6:30 to be moderated by Kari Thurlow, vice president of advocacy for Aging Services of Minnesota Association.

State Senate candidates planning to attend include Sean Nienow (R-Cambridge) and Jeske Noordergraaf, (D–North Branch) from District 32 and Julie Bunn (D-Lake Elmo) and Karin Housley, (R–St. Mary’s Point) in District 39.

State House candidates planning to attend include Bob Barrett (R-Shafer) and Rick Olseen (D-Harris) in District 32B and Bob Dettmer (R–Forest Lake) and John Bruno (D–Lindstrom) in District 39A.
