Ranger football falls to Roseville

The Forest Lake football team lost 42-14 to Roseville Friday night during the Rangers’ homecoming week.

The Rangers came out strong on offense at the start of both halves, led by senior captain and running back, Glen Miron, who jump-started the offensive drive in the first quarter with a nine-yard gain, then a 66-yard touchdown to begin the third.

But Forest Lake struggled to stay consistent throughout the match-up, plagued by penalties and turnovers that contributed to the 28-point loss.

The Rangers will face Cretin-Derham Hall at 7:30 p.m. next week at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
