The Ranger football squad lost 48-7 to Cretin-Derham Hall on a chilly night at the University of St. Thomas football field.
With senior quarterback Trent Rabel out with a concussion, Forest Lake’s sophomore Brandon Rogers stepped up to head the offense. Rogers kept his head under pressure from the Raiders, but was unable to convert. At the end of the first quarter, Cretin-Derham Hall led 13-0.
The Raiders went on a scoring run during the second quarter to bring the score to 34-0 at half, but Cretin-Derham Hall didn’t stop there. The Rangers were able to pass the end line once in the second half to bring the final score to 48-7.
