There are just two weekends to see the Forest Lake High School theater department present Disney’s “High School Musical” at the high school auditorium.
The dates are Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2 and 3, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8 to 10. The show begins at 7 p.m.
You may have heard the songs: The film’s sound track was a best-selling album in 2006, the year the Disney movie was released.
It’s fun and funny, and the story line of teens taking chances and overcoming difficulties makes for an exciting time.
There will be sabotage and manipulation, but also friends supporting each other and a large celebration.
Bring the young people in your life to watch basketball captain Troy Bolton (Calvin Waddle) and studious Gabriella Montez (Alyssa King), rivals Sharpay Evans (Molly Boland) and her brother Ryan (Ryan Sudo), with their singing, dancing school friends.
General admission tickets at the door will cost $4 for students and seniors and $6 for adults.
