Licensed psychologist Linda Lehmann will speak Monday, Nov. 19 on “Soothing Holiday Heartaches” at the sixth and final fall session of Growing Through Loss.
The session begins at 7 p.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail N. (TH-97) in Forest Lake. Following the presentation, attendees will break into smaller groups.
Lehmann is a licensed psychologist who has worked in the grief, loss and trauma areas for over 20 years.
She received her master’s degree in counseling psychology from St. Mary’s University.
She founded the Center for Grief, Loss and Transition and was the Bereavement Coordinator at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
Lehmann has been in private practice and has also been an employee assistance counselor since 2000. She is a frequent trainer and speaker on topics related to grief, loss, trauma and chronic illness.
She co-authored the “Mourning Child and Teens Together” grief support curricula published in 2001.
