Children’s Christmas party Dec. 8
Forest Lake’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon chapter is sponsoring a holiday event on Saturday, Dec. 8. This newly chartered group will hold a children’s Christmas party starting at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave. in Forest Lake. Kids will enjoy lunch with elves, a visit from Santa, games, crafts, treats and a coloring contest. Military families in particular are encouraged to attend this free event.
