Shannon Marie Spence, 45, Forest Lake, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 23, 2012.
She battled many complications from a 2002 car accident that left her blind.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Dr., Forest Lake. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Spence; father Patrick Spence, Sr.; brothers, Michael, Patrick (Loni), Dennis (Margie); niece, Megan; nephews, Matthew, Sean, Mitchell; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; seeing-eye-dog, Comet; and other beloved pets.
