Legion hosts sale

Diane and Bob Puetz of East Bethel sold wooden bowls, rolling pins and bottle stoppers, all turned on a lathe.

The American Legion Auxiliary held their annual “Shop ’Til You Drop” craft show and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway.

Many resourceful Santas had been busy in their workshops, creating imaginative gifts that the recipients will treasure. The clean, bright room with wide aisles made an ideal space to shop. Lunch was available for purchase.

Proceeds from selling booth space will go to programs for Veterans.
