James D. Holmes
James Dunning Holmes, Sr., 93, of Hugo and formerly of Forest Lake and St. Paul, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.
He was a retired Air Force captain.
A funeral service was Friday, Jan. 18 at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Gall Holmes; children, Louise Routhe, Linda Huggett, and James Holmes Jr., and their significant others, Rich Routhe, Grant Blaskowski, and Sarah Michaels; grandchildren, Corey Huggett (Amanday Walz), Tawnee (Cody) Studman, Austin Holmes, Trent Holmes, Christopher Routhe, and Tyler Routhe; great-grandchildren, Edmund Huggett and Vanessa Studman.
