Benefit set for vet’s daughter

A benefit will be held this Saturday for the daughter of veteran Kathy Brunner.

Jennifer Johnson, a mother of four, is in her second bout with breast cancer and is also disabled from chronic pancreatitis due to her mother’s exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Johnson has been treated with radiation and may undergo chemotherapy treatments.

Saturday’s benefit will run from 5 p.m. to midnight at Forest Lake VFW Post 4210. The evening starts with a spaghetti dinner and silent auction. A live auction is set for 6 p.m., and a live band will entertain from 9 p.m. to midnight. The Ladies Auxiliary will host a bake sale. Admission is $10.

An account has been established at Central Bank; donations can be mailed to PO Box 638, Forest Lake, MN 55025.
