Zavoral Mine to open in Scandia
In a unanimous vote on Tuesday, Feb. 19, the Scandia city council approved the conditional use permit for Tiller Corporation to reopen the Zavoral Mine.
The 1.2 million tons of sand and gravel will be taken from the site in 3.3 years.
