Forest Lake Area High School’s drumline team will be heading to the Winter Guard International Percussion World Championships next month after taking first place in their division at regionals last weekend.
Minnesota teams dominated in Minneapolis Regional Finals, held March 23 in Buffalo, Minn.
The region included percussion teams from around the Midwest, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The win earned the Rangers the chance to compete at the WGI Percussion World Championships, held April 18 – 20 at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio.
