It looks like a robin from underneath, but on top it’s almost white. This part-albino robin and its normally colored mate have been hanging out at the Buda residence near North Shore Trail. About 1 in 30,000 robins is an albino, according to Internet sources. A true albino robin is pure white, including the eyes (which leads to blindness). A partial albino has white patches. A robin with no white patches but paler-than-average plumage may have a genetic condition called leucism.
