“Igniting Sparks” helps youth explore career possibilities

Family Pathways and the Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau invite students in grades 9 to 12 to explore plans for after graduation.

“Igniting Sparks” will be held from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesdays from June 18 to July 30 at the Central Learning Center, 200 SW 4th St. in Forest Lake.

The teens will interact with different Forest Lake employers to explore career paths. They will have opportunities to ask questions to discover the type of employment that “ignites their spark.”

They can also determine the type of education and training needed to reach their goals and discover what it takes to be successful in various career fields.

The teens will learn about themselves, including who they are and who they want to be.

There is no fee for this program, but pre-registration is required. To register, call 320-493-1417 or e-mail meghan@familypathways.org by June 11.
