Josh Mester, Garret Swanson, Jason Shevik, Jenni Dylkowski and Max Hall of the Forest Lake High School debate team traveled to Philadelphia the last weekend in May to compete in the National Tournament. The public forum team of Mester and Swanson finished 10-5, and Shevik went 9-6 to lead the Lincoln Douglas team.
