Woodbury’s R.H. Stafford Library offers writers’ workshop

Teens and adults are invited to attend a Writers Roundtable Workshop featuring author Alice Ozma at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 28 at the R.H. Stafford Library, 8595 Central Park Place in Woodbury.

The workshop is an opportunity for aspiring writers to gather, share their work, talk about the writing process and get tips from a best-selling author.

Ozma wrote “The reading promise: My father and the books we shared,” about the 3,218 consecutive nights her father spent reading to her, from the time she was in elementary school until she started college.

She graduated from Rowan University in New Jersey with highest honors and is now the national manager of reading programs and events for Scholastic Book Fairs.

Her book was Washington County Library’s selection for the 2012 One County, One Book reading program.
