The July 20 meeting of Northern Lights Writers will feature “It’s not catch and release,” a discussion on story structure, including how to keep the reader’s attention after they’ve been hooked by the first line.

Author Lauri Robinson will lead the discussion. Robinson writes western historical romance novels for The Wild Rose Press, Harlequin Mills and Boon. Her latest book, “The cowboy who caught her eye,” was released July 1.

The July 20 meeting will be held at the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library from 10 a.m. to noon. Before the meeting, members and guests will get together for breakfast and writing-related conversation at 8:30 a.m. at Village Inn, 4848 E. Viking Blvd. in Wyoming.
