Night To Unite builds goodwill

The Forest Lake Police Department and community teamed up for a big night of bonding Aug. 6. Twenty-two neighborhoods threw block parties to mark Night To Unite, an annual, national law enforcement outreach effort. Party-goers in Forest Lake donated 350 pounds of food for the Community Helping Hands food shelf. Above: Officer Matt Smith mingles with residents from the 20300 block of Fenston Avenue. Below: Sgt.
