Anoka County Ditch

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Minn. Stat. 103E.806 that a Petition was filed by owners of benefitted property within the Anoka County Ditch #35 drainage system for partial abandonment. The Anoka County Board of Commissioners, acting as Drainage Authority for Anoka County Ditch #35, will hold a public hearing on this matter on October 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 710 of the Anoka County Government Center, 2100 Third Avenue, Anoka, Minnesota 55303. The portion of Branch 3 of County Ditch #35, subject to the petition for partial abandonment, is described as follows:
That part of Branch 3 lying west of the East section line of Section 4;
Township 32, Range 22 Columbus, Anoka County, Minnesota.
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 103E.806, if the Board determines that the portion described above does not serve a substantial useful purpose as part of the drainage system to any property in the system and is not of substantial public benefit and utility, the Board shall order that this portion of County Ditch #35 is abandoned and is no longer the responsibility of the Drainage Authority.
Please note that a public information meeting will held regarding this matter on September 19, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Columbus City Hall, 16319 Kettle River Blvd., Columbus, MN 55025.
