Scholarship foundation aiming high

Forest Lake Area Community Scholarship Foundation President Lee Sinna, second from left, and newly installed officers Joe Lefto, treasurer, Keriann Hallberg, secretary and Lyle Koski, vice president, hope to lead the CSF Board to an unprecedented goal in donations for Forest Lake area students and residents in this year’s campaign.  “We are counting on the residents and businesses in the Forest Lake Area School District who have been so generous in supporting our mission and students,” said Sinna.  Last year the group raised $95,000 and awarded more than 130 scholarships. The group just finished a successful golf event at Forest Hills and will now partner with the Ziegler Corporation  in sponsoring a donor appreciation breakfast at Vannelli’s by the Lake in November.
