Beverly Oliver claims she was an eyewitness to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and she plans to talk all about it at a free event open to the public Saturday, Oct. 12 at Stars and Strikes Entertainment Center in Wyoming.
Oliver’s promotional biography says she was friends with Jack Ruby, married to the mafia and the featured singer at the Colony Club.
The event on Saturday begins with a social hour from 5-6 p.m., followed by a lecture on Oliver’s life from 6-7:30 p.m., a question and answer period from 7:30-8 p.m. and a book signing from 8-9 p.m. A concert with the Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band Rubber Soul follows from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunrise Township resident Wade Olson organized the event. Last year, he brought Sonny West to North Branch and Wyoming to talk about his days as a bodyguard for Elvis.
