Forest Lake Mayor Chris Johnson administers the oath of office to Molly Bonnett, the newest member of the City Council, at the beginning of Monday’s meeting. Johnson this month appointed Bonnett to the council, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Jeff Klein. Bonnett will serve until next fall’s election.     Mayoral selected, not elected. 2 out of the 3 council members had a more qualified choice! All this because (former) council member Jeff Klein couldn’t hold his promise for the length of time he knew he was getting into. His tenure was shorter than a pregnancy! This council and mayor are a joke…
