Thanksgiving Sunday at Grace Church 

A community Thanksgiving service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24 at Grace Church, 432 11th Ave. The service will include “My Hope for America,” a message by the Rev. Billy Graham. Solar engraving demonstration Nov. 26

Guests are welcome to learn from Craig Reed of St. Paul at the Lakes Area Wood Carvers monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the senior center, 767 SW Fourth St. For 20 years Craig has used magnifying lenses and the sun to burn pictures on wood and leather, making pictures as large as barn doors or as small as doll furniture.

Churches plan Thanksgiving Eve service

Hosanna Lutheran Church and Forest Hills United Methodist Church will host a community Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at Hosanna, 9300 Scandia Trail. Bring a canned food item for Community Helping Hand. Pie and coffee following the service.

Intentional parenting class at St. Peter’s
