Friends of the Library book sale

The Friends of the Giese Memorial Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

And they need your help.

Book donations will be accepted at the library from now till Friday, Dec. 13.

Children’s books are especially needed, but all books in excellent condition are welcome.

The library may keep some of the donated books for its collection. The rest will be sold to raise money for the library.

Please do not bring magazines (this includes National Geographic), Reader’s Digest Condensed versions or encyclopedias. Any non-fiction material with a copyright date older than 2006 will be rejected, as will any materials that are musty, dirty or damaged.

Donations become the property of the library. Tax receipt forms are available from library staff.

Volunteers are also needed. On Friday, workers will organize books by genre. On Saturday, volunteers can set up at 9 a.m. and/or work from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you can help, please send an e-mail to [email protected]

The Friends of the Giese Memorial Library are community members who value and support the Wyoming public library. Fund-raising efforts help purchase materials and equipment not available through the regular library budget. Membership is open to everyone.
