White-Nose Syndrome in bats

Gerda Nordquist of the Minnesota DNR will give a free presentation on White-Nose Syndrome in bats at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the St. Croix River Association office, 230 South Washington Street (next to the library). This disease has killed 6 million bats in eastern North America and is severely affecting bat populations along the St. Croix River. Reservations are encouraged but not required.
