Gymnastics streak continues
The Forest Lake gymnastics team added another win last Friday by defeating Park, 135.625-134.95. The Rangers are 6-1 this season in dual meets and next travel to East Ridge for a 6:30 p.m. meet on Thursday, Jan.30.
FLDT records high finish at MV
The Forest Lake Dance Team earned their best marks at the Mounds View Invitational over the weekend, taking first in varsity jazz and third in varsity kick behind Minnetonka and Champlin Park. Next, the Rangers head to Bloomington Kennedy for sections on Saturday, Feb. 8.
FL hockey boys tie Roseville
The Forest Lake boys hockey team lost 6-1 to Duluth East at home last Tuesday, then traveled to Roseville on Saturday and tied the Raiders, 3-3, a score identical to their first matchup earlier this season. The Rangers are 10-5-4 overall and 6-2-4 in the Suburban East Conference. Next, Forest Lake hosts East Ridge at 7:30 p.m.
FL basketball boys drop two
The Rangers lost 77-72 at home to White Bear Lake last Tuesday, then fell 84-65 to Cretin-Derham Hall on the road last Friday. Forest Lake traveled to Hastings on Wednesday night, and next host East Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31.
Ranger wrestlers go 2-2
Forest Lake defeated Osseo on the road last Tuesday, 42-22, then hosted the Forest Lake duals on Saturday, where they went 1-2 with a 48-24 win over Le Sueur-Henderson. The Rangers lost to Foley and Big Lake. Junior James Pleski went undefeated at the duals at 138 pounds. Next, Forest Lake hosts Stillwater at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30.
