Brandon Arm attains Eagle Scout rank

The Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Brandon Arm will be held at 2:30 p.m. on May 4 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail in Wyoming.

Arm was a member of Pack 142 Cub Scouts at Wyoming Elementary from 2003 to 2007 and then joined Boy Scout Troop 142, sponsored by St. Paul Lutheran Church.

As a member of Troop 142, he completed 27 merit badges. His final task was to organize and carry out an Eagle project. He earned Eagle rank in January 2014.

His project included laying a concrete foundation and installing a granite memorial bench at the St. Paul Lutheran Church cemetery. He also installed a flag pole and restored buried gravestones.

The project was funded by community members, church congregation and family.

A senior at North Lakes Academy in Forest Lake, Arm has participated in baseball, soccer and football.

He works part-time as a car detailer for Wilcox Automotive in Forest Lake. After high school he plans to attend a trade school to study machining or mechanics.

Arm is the son of Jason and Heidi Solomonson and the brother of Grace Solomonson of Wyoming.
