Dance Factory brings home trophies

Dancers from The Dance Factory earned eight double platinum trophies at the Showstopper regional dance competition at Jefferson High School in Bloomington on March 28-30.

The team of Lindsay Bartlett, Sydney Moore, Aly Proulx, Rhiannon Lasch, Stephanie Noyes, Karlee Kluge and Emily Navara received an award for their tap routine, “Light ‘Em Up.” The dance placed fourth overall in total points for all senior competitive category dances.

Dance instructor Maggie Hoadley-Edwards was choreographer for the tap routine.

Lasch was one of three dancers invited to compete at the Showstopper national competition.

The Dance Factory is located at 1432 S. Lake Street in Forest Lake.
