Walk with animals  

Northwoods Humane Society will hold a 3-mile Walk with the Animals at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at the Lent Town Hall, 33155 Hemingway Ave. Leashed pets invited. Last year $27,000 was raised to help care for cats and dogs. Includes silent auction, prize drawings, photo booth, paw print painting and agility course. Registration begins at noon. Radio show

Unexpected Company will present an old-time radio show, the “Lakes Area Home Companion,” at 3 p.m. on Sunday May 4, at the Chisago Lakes High School Performing Arts Center. The show will be repeated at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at Elim Lutheran Church in Scandia. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.
